My experience in Turkey
My journey through Turkey began in Cappadocia, a region like no other. Floating above the fairy chimneys in a hot air balloon at sunrise was nothing short of magical. The colours of the morning light playing across the surreal landscape made for some unforgettable shots.
From there, I travelled to Istanbul, a city where East meets West. Standing in the courtyard of the Blue Mosque, I was struck by the grandeur of the architecture and the rich history that surrounds this vibrant city.

No trip to Turkey is complete without a visit to Pamukkale. The brilliant white terraces of mineral-rich water against the clear blue sky created a striking contrast that was a joy to capture. Walking barefoot through the warm waters felt like stepping into another world.
Beyond the natural beauty, Turkey’s rich cultural heritage is always present. Wandering through the bustling markets of Istanbul, I was overwhelmed by the vibrant colours and scents of spices, teas, and handmade crafts. Every corner revealed something new to photograph.
From Istanbul, I made my way to the Turkish Riviera, where the crystal-clear waters of Antalya were a stark contrast to the rugged landscapes inland. The vibrant sunsets over the Mediterranean were perfect for capturing that golden-hour magic.
Further inland, I explored the ruins of the ancient city of Troy. Walking through these ancient streets felt like stepping back in time, and I couldn’t help but think about the incredible history that unfolded in this very place.
