My experience in South Africa

My South African adventure began in Cape Town, where Table Mountain stands as the city’s crown jewel. Whether you’re hiking to the top or capturing it from below, the view is always breathtaking. Cape Town’s vibrant atmosphere, from its beaches to its markets, offered endless photography opportunities.

From the city, I ventured into the wilds of Kruger National Park for a true African safari experience. Seeing lions, elephants, and rhinos in their natural habitat was both thrilling and humbling. The golden light of the African sun made each shot come alive.

For a stay with spectacular views of Table Mountain, check out The Silo Hotel, or for an unforgettable safari, book a guided tour with Kruger Park Safaris.

South Africa’s beauty goes beyond its wildlife – the country is also home to vibrant cultures and stunning coastal towns. In Cape Town’s Bo-Kaap neighbourhood, the brightly painted houses and cobblestone streets made for a delightful photoshoot, reflecting the area’s rich history and diverse culture.

I also explored the world-renowned vineyards of Stellenbosch. The lush, rolling hills of this wine country offered not only delicious wines but also beautiful landscapes to capture. The experience was completed with a scenic drive along the Garden Route, where I was lucky enough to spot whales breaching off the coast at Hermanus.

As I travelled further inland, I encountered the Blyde River Canyon, one of South Africa’s natural wonders. The dramatic landscapes, with the sun setting over the canyon, provided a picture-perfect moment.

Another unique experience was visiting Boulders Beach near Cape Town, where a colony of African penguins calls the shore home. Watching these adorable creatures waddle along the sand while the waves crashed in the background was a moment I couldn’t resist capturing.
