My experience in Namibia

My first encounter with Namibia’s famous dunes at Sossusvlei was unforgettable. The towering red sands stretched out as far as the eye could see, offering endless opportunities for breathtaking shots. As I climbed Dune 45 at sunrise, the light transformed the landscape into a photographer’s paradise.
Deadvlei was unlike anything I had ever seen. The stark contrast between the cracked white earth and the blackened, skeletal trees under the clear blue sky felt otherworldly, making it one of my favourite photography spots in the world.

For a truly immersive experience, stay at the Sossusvlei Lodge, or for guided desert tours, check out Namibia Desert Safaris.

No journey through Namibia is complete without witnessing its incredible wildlife. In Etosha National Park, I had the chance to photograph elephants, lions, and even the elusive rhino. Every corner of the park revealed new surprises and breathtaking moments.
From there, I travelled to Fish River Canyon, the second-largest canyon in the world. Standing at its edge, the sheer scale of it was overwhelming, and capturing its rugged beauty at sunset was a highlight of my trip.

One of the most magical moments in Namibia was camping under the stars in the Namib Desert. With no light pollution, the sky lit up in ways I had never seen before, and I spent hours photographing the Milky Way.
I also had the chance to visit Twyfelfontein, home to some of the oldest rock engravings in Africa. The sense of history here was palpable, and it was a humbling experience to capture these ancient carvings.
